1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GetPets.co (the "Site"), placing any order, or creating an account, you ("User", "Buyer") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use GetPets.co. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using this Site, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be created by users under 13.

3. Description of Service

GetPets.co is a third-party marketplace for the purchase of virtual pets, items, and related in-game assets for the online game Adopt Me! by Uplift Games, played on the Roblox platform. GetPets.co is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roblox Corporation or Uplift Games in any way. All product names, trademarks, and game assets belong to their respective owners.

Virtual items are delivered directly to your Roblox account via in-game trade.

4. Virtual Goods — All Sales Are Final

All purchases of virtual goods on GetPets.co are final and non-refundable once delivery has been completed. By placing an order, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are purchasing a virtual in-game item with no tangible or physical form;
  • Virtual items cannot be returned once delivered into your Roblox account;
  • The value of virtual goods may fluctuate and we do not guarantee any market value;
  • We are not responsible for changes to the game by Roblox Corporation or Uplift Games that may affect the availability, usability, or value of purchased items;
  • Delivery constitutes full performance of our obligations under your order.

5. Order Process & Delivery

After a successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation. You must submit your Roblox username via the "Claim" step within your order page. Delivery is completed via an in-game trade on the Roblox platform. Standard delivery time is 1–48 hours. By accepting delivery in-game, you confirm receipt of the ordered item(s).

We maintain a full record of all deliveries, including screenshots, trade logs, and timestamps. This evidence is retained and may be used in any dispute proceeding, payment processor investigation, or legal action.

6. Payments

We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit card) and PayPal. All prices are displayed in USD unless a display currency is selected. Actual charges are processed in USD. By completing a payment, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and PayPal Holdings, Inc. — their respective terms of service and privacy policies apply to payment transactions.

7. Chargebacks & Fraudulent Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute after receiving your items is considered fraudulent misrepresentation and theft of services.

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank, credit card company, or PayPal after delivery has been completed, the following actions will be taken immediately and without notice:

  • Permanent account termination and blacklisting from all GetPets.co services;
  • Referral of your case to a third-party debt collection agency for the full disputed amount plus collection fees;
  • Formal legal action in competent civil courts to recover the disputed amount, associated costs, attorney fees, and statutory damages;
  • Submission of detailed delivery evidence (screenshots, trade logs, IP records, timestamps) to your payment provider to contest the chargeback;
  • Report to relevant fraud-prevention databases shared among merchants.

If you have a genuine concern about your order, contact us via live chat before initiating any dispute. We resolve legitimate issues promptly and fairly. Chargebacks are not an acceptable method of dispute resolution for delivered virtual goods.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion only before delivery has commenced. Once an in-game trade has been initiated or completed, no refund will be issued except where required by applicable law. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • File false, fraudulent, or unjustified chargebacks or disputes;
  • Provide false Roblox usernames or account information to delay or frustrate delivery;
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to access or exploit the Site;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Site;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or support agents;
  • Attempt to resell or commercially redistribute items purchased on this Site without express written consent.

10. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of compromise or misuse.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GetPets.co, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to contact GetPets.co support via live chat or email before pursuing any formal legal remedy. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within 5 business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to binding arbitration or litigation in accordance with the governing law section below.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, government actions, changes to Roblox platform policies or availability, DDoS attacks, or telecommunications failures.

16. Intellectual Property

All content on GetPets.co, including logos, design, text, and code, is the intellectual property of GetPets.co or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. In-game asset names and images belong to Roblox Corporation and Uplift Games.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Site at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or any conduct we deem harmful to users, staff, or the Site. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.
